The Prairie Fairy Challenge this week is to use the photograph from the blog to inspire a card or project. This image is called "Helen Hippo" and it is colored with Copic markers. I used Cosmo Cricket dp and cardstock from PTI. I also added machine stitching for texture and interest. Meljen's Designs Challenge this week is "Silver and Gold:. The new release this week is called "Memories". I sewed and quilted two tote bags. I added two of the new release images on tags for my bags. I colored my images on canvas with Copic Markers. I sewed this piece of canvas to a color coordinating piece of duck canvas. I added a sentiment from Hero Arts. I added Gold Lame Clear Snap Smootch and some little silver studs. Make sure you check out all the wonderful creations by the DT using these images! You can purchase these fabulous images and others from MelJen's Store!

Shirleys2Girls Twisted Thursday

It's time for another Twisted Thursday Challenge from Shirleys2Girls. The twist this week is to make a masculine card, layout or project. I used the handsome "Fishing Dad" image. I used DP from K&Co. and cardstock from PTI. I added twine, buttons and machine stitching. I used the Crazy4Challenges sketch for inspiration and participated in the Digital Tuesday Challege by creating a card with a cute person on it. Make sure you check out all the wonderful projects the DT has made for this challenge.

Pixie Dust Studio Thursday Challenge

The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week is to use a circle in your project. I used a circle spellbinders die cut to create the background for my image. I added dimentionals to the back of it. I chose the Jacob the Wolf and Jacob (without a shirt...swoon) image. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I used K&Co. design paper and PTI cardstock. I added machine stitching for definition. I added twine and a heart paperclip. I made this card for the Digital Tuesday Challenge of using a "cute person". Who could be cuter than Jacob without a shirt? Make sure to check out all of the other DT members for inspiration. I cannot wait to see what you make for the challenge! You would be amazed what a little magic and pixie dust will do!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge

My daughter is graduating from 8th grade this week. I can't believe my little girl will be starting high school this year. I made these invitations for the ceremony using the Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch for inspiration. I used the "Graduation Lily" digi image from Pink Cat Studio. I colored it with Copics. I added a tag, ribbon, and a rhinestone.
