The Prairie Fairy Challenge this week is to use flowers in your project, layout or card. This image is called "Mushroom Break" and it is colored with Copic markers. I used Basic Grey dp from the Kioshi collection and cardstock from PTI. I added Stickles, pearls, lace and Prima roses for embellishment. I also added machine stitching for texture and interest. I used the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge sketch for inspiration. Make sure you check out all the DT members and see their take on this challenge:) Also, make sure you stop into to the store and see all the wonderful digital stamps Prairie Fairy has to offer.

Pixie Dust Studio Thursday Challenge

The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week is to "Cut it Out". You must cut out your image. I love this technique it really makes the image pop. I added dimentionals to the back of it. I chose Super Scrappy Girl image. This is one of my very favorite images. I love how she holds a Copic Marker in her hands. Now when my mojo gets low, I am going to ask myself "what would Super Scrappy Girl do?". I colored my image with Copic Markers. I used Cosmo Cricket design paper and PTI cardstock. I added machine stitching for definition. I added ribbon and buttons. I participated in the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge and used their sketch for inspiration for my card. Make sure to check out all of the other DT members for inspiration. I cannot wait to see what you make for the challenge! You would be amazed what a little magic and pixie dust will do!

MelJen's Challenge

Meljen's Designs Challenge this week is to use flowers on your card. The new release this week is called "In the garden". I used two images on my card, the "In the Garden" sentiment and the "Little Garden Trowel". I colored my images with Copic Markers. I cut out the little trowel and added dimentionals to make it pop. I added hand stitching and machine stitching for definition and interest. I used some little Prima roses, a paper butterfly and lots of pearls to accent my card. The dp is from the Basic Grey Kioshi collection and the cardstock is from PTI. I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch as my inspiration. Make sure you check out all the wonderful creations by the DT using these images! You can purchase these fabulous images and others from MelJen's Store!

Simply Scrapping and Crafts Copics Class-Sketch Challenge

I made this card for the Copics Tutorial class I head at Simply Scrapping and Crafts. Every other week I post a video that gives Copic instruction and on the alternate weeks we put our lesson into practice by participating in a challenge. This weeks challenge was made by one of the SSC gals Bev. She created this fabulous sketch. The image is Bella from Pixie Dust Studios. The lesson taught how to color jeans. Bella is colored with Copics Markers and highlighted with white opague pen. Paper is from Basic Grey. I added machine stitching, recycled canvas, and buttons.
