Meljen's Designs Challenge this week is to make a shaped card. I love the new release images, especially this little "Cutie Crab". I colored him with Copic Markers and added flocking to resemble sand. I cut out the little seashell and added dimentionals to make it pop. I added this image on top of a card I made using my Cricut machine and Gypsy. I added K&Co. DP and PTI cardstock. I made a tag with my Spellbinders and hung it from my bucket with twine. I added lots of machine stitching for interest and definition. This machine stitching obsession I have fit in with the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge this week! I also added a little ric rac ribbon! Make sure you check out all the wonderful creations by the DT using these images! You can purchase these fabulous images and others from MelJen's Store!

Pixie Dust Studio Thursday Challenge

The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week is to use a photograph for inspiration. I chose Surpise, It's Love image from the The Princess Parade new release. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I used Crate design paper and PTI cardstock. I added machine stitching for definition. I added ribbon, buttons and a die cut. I participated in the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge and used their sketch for inspiration for my card. I also joined Stamptacular Sunday and used sewing on my card. Make sure to check out all of the other DT members for inspiration. I cannot wait to see what you make for the challenge! You would be amazed what a little magic and pixie dust will do!

Shirleys2Girls Twisted Thursday

It's time for another Twisted Thursday Challenge from Shirleys2Girls. The twist this week is to use the the word "Mom or Mother" on your card, layout or project. I used the adorable Domino Hugs image. I used DP from Crate and cardstock from PTI. I used a border punch from Martha Stewart, ribbon, and I added Prima flowers with PTI buttons. I added an abundance of machine stitching. I colored my image with my Copics. I used The Sweet Stop Sketch for inspiration. I also participated in the Stamptacular Sunday by using sewing on my project. The real challenge for me would to not use sewing on my project! LOL!
