Robyn's Fetish Challenge

The challenge for the Robyn's Fetish Challenge today is to make a Halloween card using two different design papers and no ribbon. Well, embarassingly enough all I saw was the Halloween portion of the program and my original card had only one DP and ribbon. Talk about selective memory. Well, I reworked my card and used two DP from the K&Co. Halloween stack and used twine! Yeah! I can follow directions:) I colored the Haunted House image, from Robyn's Fetish, with Copic Markers and I added glitter glue to make it shine! I also added a border punch using a Martha Stewart Halloween punch and highlighted it with silver ink. All in all, I like the reincarnation better than the original. Make sure and stop by the other Design Team members and see what creations they made!

It's national Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Robyn's Fetish has a commemorative stamp set to celebrate this worthy cause. Just post your card using mostly pink to the Robyn's Fetish Challenge blog by tomorrow night at 11:59 p.m. This set is a great value at $10.00 but, during the hop the price will be reduced by 50%. That's right...50% off at just $5.00. And 50% of your $5.00 purchase price will be donated to charity to help fight breast cancer!

I made two projects with the new digi set. The card is made using a grandma image. I colored her with Copic markers and set her atop lots of pink DP. I also adding many different sewing styles!

I also made acetate boxes and added the digi stamp of the nightie to my box. I embellished it with a pearl and added lots of pink candies. Everyone I have given this little gift to has been thrilled! What a fun way to celebrate a worthy cause. The image is colored with Copic Markers and highlighted with Prismacolor pencils.

Farm Fresh Friday

OK. I admit it. When I found out the Farm Fresh Friday Challenge from The Greeting Farm this week was to use no frills I broke out in hives. We were not allowed to use ribbon. Ribbon! It was difficult but, I like the result. I used the Marlene Monkey image from TGF and paired it with Basic Grey papers. I used rivets, a button and twine. I also added some metal embellishment to frame the image. My simian pal is colored with copic markers. Make sure you stop in to the other DT members and see what they created!

Halloween Mouse Basket

I found this cute little cardboard basket at Target and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it! I added the adorable Halloween Mouse Digi stamp from The Greeting Farm. I colored the image with Copic Markers. I added a Martha Stewart border punch, ribbon and a button. I made this for my daughter for Halloween. In fact it was so much fun that I made two others. One for my hubby and another for my hospice patient.

Marina Neira Foxy Xmas/Mojo Monday Challenge

Another take on one of the new Marina Neira digital images from The Greeting Farm. The fox is colored with Copic markers and highlighted with glitter glue to add the snow effect. Paper is from the new paper pack at The Greeting Farm. Cardstock is from PTI. Ribbon is from my stash. The snowflake is a Spellbinder cut. I used the Mojo Monday sketch to complete this card.

House Mouse Design Team

I made this Christmas card for the House Mouse Challenge Design Team Search. I look forward each week (since the break every two weeks) to participating in the challenge. House Mouse Stamps are the first stamps that started my card making. I love making these images come to life with color! I used DP from K&Co. and cardstock from PTI. The House Mouse stamp is colored with Copic markers and highligted with Prismacolor pencils. I added silver embellishments including a corner brad, ribbon plate, and brads. I would love the opportunity to create for this wonderful challenge site. I love House Mouse stamps and I am passionate about cardmaking.
